is powerful – able to handle large assemblies
in a collaborative environment without flinching. Our
experience with Pro Engineer, Solid Works and other
CAD programs always brings us back to ProE.
Our experience with ProE has given us a large asset
bank of CAD details. For instance, drawing a
thread in CAD can be a difficult task. Many
resort to a thread as a simple cosmetic feature. The
problem is that a cosmetic thread will not print in
a rapid prototype. We can draw any standard or custom
thread as a real, parametric solid. That means when
you go to make a rapid prototype, you have the details
necessary to actually print a real thread!
In addition to 3D solid modeling, Pro Engineer allows
